He was never meant to be here.
Elijah was seven years old when he flew into the Forbidden Forest. He was always warned by his parents and fellow fairy peers not to go near the entrance of that part of their enchanted forest. Nothing good ever came for those parts. But there Elijah was—in the middle of that godforsaken place.
Chasing after fireflies, he didn’t realize he flew right into hell. As soon as the child hovered over that dirt path lined by dead flowers, his fate was sealed and a dreadful fate at that. With only the crescent moon as his guide the fairy got lost in the forest’s endless darkness. Venturing farther and farther, the woods’ sinister energy swallowed him whole. The young boy’s mind didn’t stand a chance.
The Forbidden Forest taints your soul. Drowns you in pure insanity until your mind finally breaks. With the horrific ghouls and goblin chasing after him, you’d think he’d be scarred for life, right? No, actually you’d be wrong. Elijah can’t even begin to describe what his seven year old self saw luring between the trees that night. His memory is hazy. The Forest has a way of doing that; keeping things a mystery, driving victims mad with confusion amongst all the chaos. Though that fateful night is a blur, he does remember one thing for sure. The emotions he felt. The fear. Saying the boy was terrified is an understatement.
He remembers crying out, screaming for his parents to come and save him but to no avail. He spent the entire night in those woods, scared out of his mind.
That’s Elijah’s memory of that life changing night.
He got lost in the Forest, got chased by monsters, cried a lot and suddenly it was daytime. Suddenly he was back where he started. It was odd. He remembers he wasn’t crying. He wasn’t even scared anymore. He was more confused than anything. The fairy called for his parents—surprisingly he didn’t even have to move an inch before he saw two sparkles come speeding toward him.
Expanding to normal size, his parents stood on the outskirts of the dark, gloomy part of the forest. He recalls there being a sharp contrast. The grass was quite literally greener on the other side with flowers and other plants flourishing under the bright sun. Whereas his side felt lifeless with barely any living plants or grass. The trees were the only things thriving, though they were twisted into weird, arched shapes. And storm clouds were rolling in from his side, thunder rumbling and lightning threatening to strike at any moment.
Elijah’s mom was clinging on to his dad’s arm, crying sobbing at the sight of Elijah. But those weren’t tears of joy. No. She was absolutely petrified.
Their son was covered in blood.
Elijah never understood what happened that day. He can’t recall why blood was plastered all over his body. It definitely wasn’t his own blood. Why didn’t his younger innocent self react when he noticed the blood? Why wasn’t he afraid or shocked by it . . . he just seemed to shrug it off. He was more concerned with his parents. He held his hands up, waiting for them to carry him away from the darkness . . .
“S-Sorry I broke the rules. Didn’t mean to! I promise it won’t happen again,” He was the first to speak. His tiny voice hoarse from crying and shouting all night. “I wanna go home, mommy... Daddy it’s so scary in here. Let’s go!”
Elijah was abandoned.
His parents were only there to say their goodbyes. His mom uncontrollably sobbed and his dad trying to be her rock, only letting a few tears roll down his bearded cheeks. They said their “I’m sorry”’s before turning their back on their son without a single hug at least. Elijah attempted to run after them, but his feet were planted to the ground—unable to move forward. He could only move backward—back into the Forest.
As Elijah faded, Jinx was born
He is stuck here now. Only allowed to leave when given permission to by outsiders or the elders of these woods. But he must always come back. The Forest gives him power. Staying away too long or venturing too far will not only weaken his power but also his health. He’ll likely fall ill and die if he tries to leave and never come back. Trust me, he’s tried many times before and Death was knocking at his door every time.
He’s lucky the Enchanted Forest woodlander are so selfless and kind. They’d carry him back to the Forest when he’d collapse, too weak to fly or walk back. It’s a bittersweet gesture though. Yes, they’re helping by carrying the beast back home to revive him, but his home is his prison.
After many years and many failed escape plans, Elijah eventually stopped trying. His will power deteriorated. Elijah stopped being Elijah...
The creatures of the forest started calling him Jinx. They ripped away his real name as a way to make him forget the past and stop him from thinking he even has a chance at a bright future. Elijah is dead.
Now he has given into his more sinister side. It’s a side that he tried fighting in the past but it built up over the years of being in such a hustle environment. He couldn’t fight it any longer. Now he uses his time out to wreak havoc across the border or lure innocent unsuspecting people into the Forest.
Basics
his birth name is Elijah Oh, but when abandoned in the forest, the creatures who live there started calling him Jinx. he forgets his birth name often so he will likely introduce himself as Jinx. he is twenty-three years old and his birthday is march eleventh.

NSFW ?
get close enough and maybe he’ll entertain the possibility of there being intimacy between you and him. unlock his kink list by getting to know him first. just know that he’s bisexual and a switch with no lean. don’t force him into a certain headspace for your own needs and don’t come to him only looking for sex.
Pre-established Relationships
siblings / lost relative —
separated for years since Jinx
entered the forest. they eventually
find each other and they’re still
learning about one another now.
childhood friends —
the only person from the outside
world that still visits Jinx daily.
exes turned fwb —
oh no ! someone catches feelings
again ? very messy, dramatic, angsty,
etc. probably a lot of hate-fucking if
you’re interested.
predator & prey —
a repeat hunter; constantly trying
to catch Jinx but they fail so often it’s
kinda funny.
think of bugs bunny & elmer’s
(looney tunes) dynamic.
Plot Ideas
Hunter — A plot where you and Jinx are long time friends and you’re unaware of him being a fairy. You’re a supernatural hunter and one day you’re assigned to kill Jinx.
Lab Rat — A plot where Jinx is your science experiment. You’re trying to explain away his magic with science. Jinx grows attached to you—seeing that you’re the only person who’s ever expressed interest in him. He thinks he finally has a friend, but you’re only here for the experiments. He gets attached while you’re detached (unless?).
College — A college plot where you and Jinx get partnered up for a project, but you get suspicious of Jinx. As time goes on, you eventually start investigating his weird behavior and the truth of him being a fairy is revealed.
Royal — A historical era plot where Jinx is a known menace to the kingdom and you’re a royal guard or an actual royal or anyone of higher status. There’s hatred between the two of you. But Jinx teases and flirts with you constantly just to get under your skin. Good old enemies to lovers or enemies to friends trope.
One Day — A plot where you let Jinx out of the forest for the day, not knowing how that effects him. The two go traveling and exploring all day. As the time goes on and the duo venture farther away from the forest, Jinx becomes weaker. He tries his best to hide it . . . as he wants to spend his last day with you.
if you see something you like or have any other ideas, feel free to dm me so we can plot.
ideas that i haven’t thought out but i’m interested in + nsfw / darker themed ones
I want Jinx to have a stalker tbh. Kidnap him. I want Jinx to constantly be near death because your character took him out of the forest. So a scene happens where they just let his hand in the entrance of the forest to replenish himself. Enough to keep him alive but not enough to defend himself and escape. Torture him with freedom dangling right in front of him, but he’s too weak to move.
Got a specific scene in mind where Jinx and your character are exploring knife play and they get more heavy handed since Jinx can heal quickly. Little slashes turn into deeper ones and eventually those turn into non-consensual stabbing which is traumatizing to Jinx. The other character seems to get off to it though. Serial killer aus I’m looking at you-
Jinx is promised to have his curse broken by your character. But first, he has to be pimped out for a couple months. “Make me $100,000 and you’ll be free forever” type of situation.
I want a plot where Jinx is a faceless singer and you’re one of his few fans. Idk exactly where to go with this though.
Your character is investigating a murder. Everything points toward Jinx, although he had nothing to do with it. You and Jinx try solving the case together? Buddy cop film vibes.
Malcom & Marie inspired plot. Our characters are already together. They’re arguing back and forth trying to one up one another and trying to figure what the core of the argument really is. But also seeing whose words can hurt the most. Chaotic Toxicity. Probably very draining to write though.

Plotting
I prefer descriptive literacy in third person. I’m okay with mirroring replies. English only.
Open to writing just about anything, including darker themes and hard, taboo kinks. Just has to be discussed between admins first.
I usually make separate chats when plotting:
1. For admins to discuss a plot
2. For the actual plot
3. (Optional) Another chat can be made so our characters can have casual conversations that don’t interfere with the main plot.
And for the Pre-established Relationships: those don’t need to be fully plotted—it’ll be a go with the flow type of thing. The character just interact casually with moments of full blown literate rp. Timeline banter is encouraged. I plan on posting about each relationship every once and while to allow for the characters to cement their bond.
